Gwinnett County Homes Skaters Love the Ice Forum

If you’ve always wanted to learn to ice skate, sign up for classes at the Skating Academy. Kids as young as three can start in the Snowplow Sam Series. Kids ages 6 through 18 take the Youth Basic levels 1 through 8. Adults and teens 15 and over can take Adult Basic levels 1 through 6. Class sessions are six weeks long. Coaches are all members of the Professional Skaters Association.

There are also public sessions every day of the week. Admission is $8 for those over 5 and $4 for those 5 and under. Skaters in Gwinnett County homes can bring their own skates or rent a pair. Figure skates and hockey skates are both $3 to rent. If you get hungry while skating, stop in a Breakaway Grill for a snack, a drink, or a meal.
